PMS Holds Workshop to Mark Completion of a Key Phase in its Strategic Human Resources Development Project

In the framework with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources strategy to enhance and optimize human resources, Petroleum Marine Services Co. organized a workshop in the occation of the completion of an important phase in its strategic project for human resources development.
This project, which commenced in 2023, was executed in collaboration with the Engineering Company for Petroleum and PetroChemical Industries (Enppi), the engineering and training arm of the Egyptian petroleum sector, along with specialized consultants ,The initiative involved assessing over 110 individuals from project management teams and supporting technical and service departments.
The evaluation focused on knowledge and competencies using globally recognized performance assessment programs (Thomas psychometric, CPI, MBTI, CPI260 Leadership Potential).
Subsequently, Individual Development Plans (IDP) were created according to career paths based on the assessment results.
The first phase was completed by developing a group of 37 engineers from project management teams in terms of strategic management and enhancing leadership and managerial competencies.
The workshop was attended by Eng. Amr Badawy, CEO of PMS, and Eng. Wael Lotfy, CEO of Enppi, along with senior management from both companies.
The workshop included a series of presentations and discussions from five groups of trainees who showcased projects reflecting their studies and aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
During the event, Eng. Amr Badawy and Eng. Wael Lotfy honored the group with the most outstanding project and recognized the engineers who completed the training program. They also reviewed the upcoming phases to continue the development process and implement the Succession Plan.
Eng. Amr Badawy emphasized the great importance that PMS places on human resources development as a top priority for achieving better growth.
He noted PMS's ongoing efforts to create new leadership capabilities that contribute to decision-making and adopt innovative ideas for sustainable development.
